In the semi -finals of the 75kg weight class, Vietnamese boxer Tran Thi Oanh Nhi encountered Su Ching Wen (Taipei China). Before an interesting unknown from East Asia, Oanh Nhi did not appear to flinch. She played overwhelming before Su to win the first half, when there were 4/5 of the examination of Oanh Nhi to win 10-9.
Entering the second half, the outstanding advantage continues to be shown by Oanh Nhi to the Taipei Chinese boxer. The advantage of bodybuilding and height is made the most every time when launching the attack towards Su. Taipei Chinese boxers constantly tried to approach but could not successfully attack.
Similar to the first half, the second half closed with 4/5 assessment of the victory in favor of Oanh Nhi, including 1 Thai inspection of her to win 10-8. Vietnam puncher confirmed the absolute power in the final round, when she launched many continuous attacks that Su Ching Wen could not continue playing.
The victory in the third half helped Oanh Nhi officially reached the final of the 75kg weight class for women. She became the third Vietnamese boxer to have the opportunity to compete in the Gold Medal in the Thai Boxing Prize expanded 2022, after Nguyen Thi Tam and Vo Thi Kim Anh.
According to the schedule of the Thai Boxing Organizing Committee expanded 2022, boxers will play the final on April 9. With 3 representatives participating in the finals, this is a great opportunity for Boxing Vietnam to prove the strength before the 31st SEA Games. At the end of the tournament, the Vietnamese team will continue to stay in Phuket to practice until the end of April.
