Sharing on his personal Instagram page, Alex Pereira posted a video about the 2 -week training session before the UFC 300 event. When he broke the right toe on the right and the training team performed the problem of troubleshooting occurred shortly thereafter.
“Hey, I have broken my toes. Push it up again. See if there is any change. Turn it a little more. Do this like this, direct it forward and then push it out,” Alex Pereira told the coach.
In the video, it can be seen that Pereira realized the problem right after making a kick. Later, his team tried to push his toes back to his original position but failed. While they continued to attempt to treat, Pereira sat down and felt regretful about this unfortunate situation.
The defending champion of UFC shared in frustration: “It's bad, I don't think of injury right now. The last training session before the match is important. But I did well.”
