After a period of sticking with the Kma Top Team gym in Australia, Martin Nguyen moved to the US to practice at Sanford MMA and his colleague Aung La N Sang. The predestined he came to the Sanford MMA gym happily, through the introduction of Aung La:
“I started in a small gym in Sydney (Australia). Almost all of my plays were gathered there. Before the prestigious championship matches, I practiced in KMA,” Martin Nguyen shared.
“But then I felt trapped, I felt that myself had not practiced enough. I want myself stronger because of the growing challenges and if I didn't try to cultivate, I would be lagged behind myself.

This Vietnamese -born boxer often flew to the United States to practice before the big matches, meaning that he had to trade a lot of time with his family. For example, in 2020, Martin summarized that he spent more than half a year on the other side of the ocean, which made the young father Martin miss his family and children so much.
“I pushed myself out of the safe area because I had never left my family before. Fortunately, my wife had supported this, the coach was so. Thanks to that, I have never regretted this decision. The Sanford MMA gym gathered many famous boxers around the world. Everyone promotes each other to become stronger and more complete.” Martin Nguyen added.
Martin Nguyen is preparing for the re -export of the One Championship match against Korean boxers Kim Jae Woong at the One: TNT 2 event on April 14.
