As one of the Vietnamese boxers to attend the Asian Boxing U22 Championship right before the Lunar New Year, the boxer Nguyen Thi Hoi attracted attention on the day of the launch. Competing in the 52kg weight class, Nguyen Thi Hoi excellently defeated the representative from Kazakhstan, Zhansaya Rakhymberdi after 3 rounds.
More notably, Zhansaya Rakhymberdi is one of the boxers from Kazakhstan, Asian boxing. That makes Nguyen Thi Hoi's convincing victory more worthy. She will continue to participate in the next rounds, with the competition that takes place in the next few days.
Along with Nguyen Thi Hoi, Boxing Vietnam also has a fighter competing on the day of the competition today, Pham Thi Quynh Anh. Playing in a 48kg weight class, Quynh Anh received a defeat against the Nepal boxer Susma Tamang. The coach in charge of this team is Mr. Pham Thanh Hai, who has many years of experience in training and managing boxing teams.
