Thu Nhi lost 0-5 to Spain's Marta

The draw results showed that Thu Nhi's opponent in the first round was Marta Lopez del Arbol, Spain. Marta has a performance not too prominent in 2022, when losing 3/4 matches. However, everything was completely contrary to the speculation of the fans when the match began.

Being more appreciated than the opponent thanks to the bravery, experience and reputation of a professional boxer championship, Thu Nhi did not show it in the match against Marta. In the opposite direction, the Spanish boxer proved to be more agile than Thu Nhi in both attacking and defending.

Before a child who was not familiar with the speed and fighting style of the amateur boxing, Marta continuously moved throughout the 4 corners of the ring, both hitting and “poking” Vietnamese boxers with many straight punches. With the advantage of height and longer arms, Marta makes it easier to do.
