The expectation of watching the battle of Le Le vs Martin Nguyen 2 of Vietnamese audiences seems to have to wait a while longer to become a reality. Recently, CEO ONE Championship Chatri Sityodtong has revealed that the tournament is trying to arrange the match between Thanh Le and Garry Tonon in the summer of 2021.
“It would be a very interesting match,” Chatri Sityodtong said on SCMP.
“We should have put this match in the One On TNT series in April. Both Thanh and Garry Tonon both agreed on the radio, but Thanh Le broke his arms in the battle with Martin Nguyen and still needed more time to recover.”
Temporarily, the match of Thanh Le vs Garry Tonon has not yet been determined both time and location. However, Mr. Sityodtong is expected to hold this Featherweight belt protection match in June this year, provided that both Le and Garry Tonon are not affected by injuries and accidents.
“I still have not talked to Garry or Thanh Le about how their practice is now, nor know if they have been injured recently, there are many issues I have not yet been determined.
