Aleksei Oleinik can be said to be one of the most experienced fighters in MMA history. He played 25 years with a total of 75 matches.
In an era that boxers often use Trash-Talk to attract the audience, Oleinik said that MMA was very different than when he first started participating in sports.
“I have been in this world for a long time and I see, I look, I see this sport that changes every year,” Oleinik said in an interview.
“When we played MMA, we have Royce Gracie, Mark Coleman, Dan Severn and Oleg Taktarov – terrible, strong and brutal people.
Oleinik (59-15-1 MMA, 8-6 UFC) will confront Serghei Spivac in the focal match of UFC on ESPN 25 event this weekend.
“My era, when true men, brutal men, do not need to say much,” Oleinik said. “I need to fight a beautiful battle. I need to show a brutal battle. I don't need to say, say, say. Maybe this is not bad. I can't change time, but I can change myself.”
