Landing in the 4th position of UFC in the list of fists of the Lightweight weight class, Islam Makhachev initially seemed to face Beneil Dariush in this UFC Fight Night match. However, because of not completely recovering an ankle injury, Dariush suddenly asked to withdraw at the last minute.
With Beneil Dariush not participating in the match against Islam Makhachev, Bobby Green was chosen to be a replacement. Green is just a player “filling the blank” because he played quite unstable at the age of 35.
“I want a match that can help me soon achieve the position of championship,” Makhachev said.
