We are no stranger to the long -standing hatred between the Middlewael Israeli Adesanya champion and former Light Heavyweight Jon Jones. After many abstinence battlefields on social networks, even involved in the parents of both boxers, Adesanya did not hide the fact that he wanted to have the opportunity to compete with Jones on the stage to resolve resentment before.
Unfortunately for Adesanya, his first launch in Light Heavyweight at UFC 259 was not very successful again. Adesanya failed with an overwhelming score after 5 rounds against Jan Blachowicz, who holds the current Light Heavyweight throne.
Adesanya's failure is a good opportunity for Jones to continue criticizing. On his personal Twitter page, Jon Jones wrote:
“Doing well Jan, even if there are only 2 minutes left, Israel is completely located below. Surely there will be no surprise happening.
The former champion Jones abandoned the throne from August 2020 to be at Heavyweight. In the near future, he will be able to compete for the championship with the winner of the Stipe Miocic vs. Francis nunnou at the next UFC 260 event.
Currently Adesanya temporarily abandoned the dream of playing in Light Heavyweight. After the defeat, he announced he would return to Middleweight. The upcoming opponent has not been revealed, but it is likely that the former Robert Whittaker champion currently has 2 consecutive victories.
