UFC Vegas 31 is an event that includes 10 matches and it is worth noting that there are 8 matches ending without the referee's decision. Because of this, the number of candidates for the post -event prize is too high.
Therefore, instead of awarding a “match of the night” and two “plays the night” tournament, UFC decided to increase the number of rewards “the play of the night” to 4 parts. This means that there will be 6 fighters to receive the award after the event, with each prize of 50,000 USD.
