Nguyen Huyen Tran was born in 2003 (20 years old), a boxer of Tien Giang boxing team. Her best achievement is the Gold Medal of the National Sports Festival 2022 of 60kg women's weight. With Vuong Thi Vy absent, the most potential candidate in the 57kg weight class belongs to 3 boxers Nguyen Thi Thanh Hao (Championship boxing of strong teams nationwide 2023, representatives of Vietnam to attend the World Women's Boxing Award 2023), Do Thi Trang, Do Thi Thuy, Le Thi Hong Dao (the athletes can press the 57kg weight -to -class weighing).
But in the end, after the Boxing tournament of strong teams nationwide 2023, Thanh Hao was no longer called on the national team. The remaining 3 fighters were not called for additional recruitment. The performance of ASIAD 19 in this weight class, therefore, belongs to Nguyen Huyen Tran, who recruited the country as the championship of the national sports festival.
On the side of Ngoc Tran, this is the first year the boxer was born in 2004 to play in the adult age (19-40) in Boxing. Before that, she only attended the tournaments for young people.
