Deontay Wilder revealed a strategy for the 3rd match against Tyson Fury

Appearing at the online press conference before the match, Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOS) said he had been waiting too long to be able to go to the floor with Tyson Fury. The former champion had to wait a year and a half with the expectation “will punch Fury”.

“I hope Fury has been well prepared. This is the life war,” Deontay Wilder said.

“For a lot of people, the more they fight more aggressively – the people who like to easily overcome the opponent, right? But when they have difficulties, they will stop the game, will give up. I will target my body, I will punch my arm, punch into my neck, and finally punch into Fury's head.”

“His whole body will be the goal for the punches. And I know that after the match, I will be the winner, with Knockout rather than calculating the 12 -round point.”

Compared to what happened in the previous two matches, when Deontay Wilder always emphasized that he would try to “hunt the head” against Tyson Fury, this strategy seemed more feasible.

Although big, Fury has a very flexible upper body movement, good spleen dodge. It will be difficult for Wilder to have an accurate Knockout into the head area, if he does not exhausted and disturbed Fury's breathing previous. Punches on the upper body will make this target more realistic.
