According to the Organizing Committee's notice, VSP Pro 5 event took place at VSP Club, (5th floor, No. 145 Nguyen Du, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The event began at 6pm on June 17, with matches starting about 30 minutes later. This is an event organized with the purpose of creating a playground for Vietnamese boxers who wish to go to the professional stage.

The focal match of the event took place between two boxers Dao Van Quan (Hanoi) and Phan Minh Quan (Ho Chi Minh City).
