With the redesign of UFC gloves, the boxer is still poked

After a horrible eye at Leon Edwards vs Belal Muhammad at UFC Vegas 21 last weekend, many people asked how to make the eye -catching situations take place on the UFC battle floor. Someone proposed to poke their eyes, so they calculated a serious error, except for 1 point in the match without notice. Someone offered to redesign UFC gloves, how to make the fighter's hand, so the fingers would not be straight out but poked her eyes.

However, according to the former two -class King Daniel Cormier, the problem of eye poking in UFC matches in particular and MMA in general is not easy to solve at all.

“The problem is that eye poking sometimes is not intentional, but often when the boxers want to catch and hold the opponent,” DC explained.

“I have heard about people proposing to redesign UFC gloves to reduce eye poking. But I think even when redesigning those gloves, the problem of eye poking is only partially solved. It is true that when the boxer cannot open his hand, straighten his hand, make sure his eyes will be more unlikely, but whoever guarantees that when playing, that glove will not be deflected, then the martial artists will not be twisted.”

Daniel Cormier himself admitted that he did not have a correct answer to this problem, even when he was a victim of many eyes from Jon Jones or Stipe Miocic.

“I don't know what we can do with my eyes,” DC said. “It will probably happen forever. There is no perfect solution.”
