The Asia -Pacific World Champion Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi was born on October 22, 1996 in An Giang. She was the first Vietnamese female boxer to own a professional boxing belt in Asia -Pacific.

The life of life makes Thu Nhi have dark skin, or teased as “black children”. The Asia -Pacific Wbo champion also held the nickname “Black Angel” for her herself.
“There was a time when I was still practicing, my family was still difficult that I had not achieved any success from Boxing. It was my passion, but I did not earn income from there to help my family. At that time, I thought about stopping the boxing to find any other job with a more stable salary, can cover it to help my family because my grandmother is also older,” Thu Nhi shared. “
However, passion for boxing, Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi stayed with the floor. Thu Nhi was the winner of the National Championship in 3 years 2015 – 2017-2018; Championships nationwide clubs for 5 consecutive years from 2015 to 2019.
Fortunately, Thu Nhi received the attention from the Korean boss Kim to Bum – owner of Cocky Buffalo Club. In 2019, Thu Nhi officially moved to a professional boxing arena with the expectation of “a future that can achieve world -class achievements”.
In February 2020, Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi made the first impression with the victory over Thai puncher Kanyarat Yoohanngoh after 10 rounds, bringing back to the Asian Wbo -Pacific belt mini -Flyweight. She is also the first female boxer of Vietnam to have a professional title in one of the four major organizations in the world (WBO, WBA, IBF and WBC).
