Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, born on October 15, 1989, is often called “AJ”, is a heavyweight boxing champion from the UK. Anthony Joshua is currently holding 4 boxing belts, including WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO world champions.
In the near future, Joshua will protect the championship belt against Oleksandr Usyk at dawn on September 26.
Anthony Joshua was born in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, in a family with 4 siblings. Joshua's mother, Yeta Odusanya, is a Nigerian, and his father, Mr. Robert Joshua, is the Lai Ligia – Ireland. Despite being born in England, Joshua has a great childhood raised in Nigeria. Joshua returned to England at the age of 12 after his parents divorced.
Growing up in an area with many social evils, Anthony Joshua used to be in court and was detained by participating in payment screens, “taking the number” between criminal groups in the region. Before entering the boxing floor, Joshua used to work as a mason.
