Former Middleweight Chris Weidman underwent a successful surgery after he broke his leg in the match against Uriah Hall at UFC 261 in April. However, any future on the arena for Weidman is still a big concern.
The former king is 36 years old, a very serious injury like this can completely become the end of his ring karma.
“I am not sure what will happen to me,” Weidman said, with water with water when recounting my recovery process on YouTube.
“My feet are still numb. I just hope it will soon feel back, and I can walk as before the match at UFC 261 took place.”
“I used to have 23 different surgeries to treat injuries, there was no surgery among them forcing me to leave the ring. But whether I still have enough passion and enthusiasm to continue waiting for this long recovery process?
However, Chris Weidman is being treated with the best physical therapy possible. Only after a few days of surgery, Weidman was allowed to start walking on a gravity treadmill, along with many other physical therapy measures every day.
“I don't want this injury to end my fighter karma,” Weidman said in another interview.
“I feel that I will be broken, but maybe it will not be as painful as I can't play wrestling with my sons anymore, I can't show them how good their father was and could not pass on love to martial arts to them. It was probably the most difficult thing.”
