When is the MMA 2022 season?
This morning (March 12), the Vietnam General Martial Arts Federation (VMMAF) announced the plan to organize the MMA Vietnam System in 2022. The tournament is officially called Lion Championship 2022. The first qualifying round is expected to start from June 10 to July 24 in 4 areas. The Northern qualifying round took place in Hanoi from June 10-12, the Central-Central Region qualifier took place in Da Nang from June 24-26. Meanwhile, the East and Southwest qualifying round will be held in Ho Chi Minh City (July 8) and Can Tho (July 22-24).
After the qualifying round, the boxers will go through the second stage of the quarterfinals and semi -finals. The quarterfinals are expected to take place from 9-11 September, while the semi-finals will take place in 2 days 22 and 23/10. The best faces will attend the final of 9 MMA weight classes in the 2022 season in December.
The preliminary registration term for the qualifying round is before April 25. The official registration period is before May 25. MMA 2022 How many weight classes?
The MMA 2022 season will have a total of 9 weight classes, including 3 weight classes of women and 6 weight classes of men. Men's weight classes include 56kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 77kg and 84kg, while women's weight classes are 52kg, 56kg and 60kg respectively.
