Becoming a world champion after winning former Japanese king Etsuko Tada on October 23, Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi shared that she had many plans to protect the belt in the future.
However, Thu Nhi also said that she would not take the ambitious steps but unstable.
“As a boxer, everyone wants to go to the radio a lot, many money,” the new WBO World Championship said about the plan to organize the next match.
“But with professional boxing, when I finished a game, I would have to rest for a long break for a long time for me to recover. Therefore, I think I have been fighting two to three matches a year. I still need time to rest.”
Explaining more about this issue, Thu Nhi shared that unlike amateur boxing, professional boxing boxers faced much more severe health issues for each new match.
For example, a few months of cutting and cutting water before each match to ensure the prescribed weight. For example, brain tremors when punched into the head after a 10 round match. For example, extremely strict training to ensure that boxers have the best falling point on the stage.
Because of that 45 minutes of fighting, a boxer had to pay a lot.
“Professional fighting is not like amateur. Each match affects health and affects its brain anymore,” Thu Nhi admitted.
Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi said that she has many ideas, from moving to other weighing to sweeping championship belts in other ranking systems (WBC, WBA, IBO, …).
“My next goal will be to protect the belt, then maybe I will gain weight up, hit other classes, try to grab the world belt of other classes. After that, I will rage through other systems!”
“In general, Nhi's goal is a lot! But Nhi sets a goal and then will slowly achieve it, not to set a big goal to rush in to do it.”
In addition, the recovery with the former champion of Etsuko Tada is also in the “worth review” of Thu Nhi. The new WBO World Championship is ready to rematch if the Japanese collection is still “lost”.
