After 10 years of establishment and development, Boxing Vietnam has begun to appear periodic series of events. Vietnam also has a professional boxing management unit that is a professional Ban Baning (VBC) under the Vietnam Boxing Federation.
Sharing on his personal page, Mr. Luu Tu Bao, Chairman of the Vietnam Boxing Federation and Head of Boxing, said that the Asian WBA organization has reached an agreement with Vietnam, China and South Korea. A professional boxing tournament of WBA Asia is about to be held in the near future, with the participation of the three countries.
“We will organize a tournament with Vietnamese, China and South Korea boxers to find the 'ultimate' champion. The representative of each country is chosen from the national tournaments. We are also concerned from many other countries, and plan to expand the tournament in the future,” Mr. Luu Tu Bao said.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Boxing Federation also affirmed that information about the weight classes, as well as the details of the tournament will be updated in the near future. This promises to be a chain of attractive boxing events of Vietnam in the near future, besides high -achievement and professional tournaments.
In 2024, besides professional tournaments, Boxing Vietnam also has another important playground, the Paris Olympic qualifying round. Vietnamese boxers will leave for Italy to attend the first Olympic qualifying round at the end of February, with matches taking place in the first 10 days of March.
