According to the plan, UFC Fight Night 238 will take place on 23/3 in the rich country. Although, the Organizing Committee arranged 10 matches, but no famous name appeared, making fans disappointed.
The reason is considered because the host of Saudi Arabia is not satisfied with the quality of the boxers. UFC President Dana White admitted to reversing the schedule to find top boxers.
“Every time UFC organizes the event aims to create the earthquake that makes fans excited. But with the first historical event in Saudi Arabia, along with some matches that the Organizing Committee wants to arrange, the current is not ready. Therefore, the schedule is forced to step back. And UFC confirms will bring the best to fans,” President Dana White said.
Instead, the UFC Fight Night 238 event took place at APEX Center, USA. Martial artists like Mohammad Yahya and Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady were chosen in the Middle East but will have to switch to playing in Las Vegas.
That will definitely make the boxers feel surprised by the change of the venue. UFC fans in the Middle East will also be disappointed when the organizers announce the postponement of this event. The first UFC tournament in Saudi Arabia will take place on June 22.
