UFC 258 lost Co-Main Chris Weidman vs. Uriah Hall 2 for Covid

If expected, UFC 258 was able to be led by the Welterweight struggle between Kamaru Usman vs. Gilbert Burns; Join the co-main match between former King Chris Weidman and Uriah Hall. However, because Chris Weidman received a positive result with Covid-19 this morning, the Co-Main match was canceled.

UFC will probably reschedule this match to UFC 261 on April 24. If possible, this is also a bad result because UFC 261 is likely to be an event that can be held in Singapore this summer. However, the organization plan as well as the Fight card of UFC 261 has not been officially confirmed.

Chris Weidman and Uriah Hall met at the Ring of Combat tournament 10 years ago, in September 2010. It was Weidman's third professional MMA match and the fifth of Uriah Hall.

Chris Weidman then defeated Hall with Tko in the first half, winning the Middleweight Ring Combat belt. This is the first defeat in the career of Uriah Hall. Later, when both joined UFC, Weidman became the Middleweight UFC champion by defeating Anderson Silva, while Uriah Hall was still sinking in the top in the middle of the rankings.

Considering the achievements of both old generals, Hall is a bit better while holding a series of 3 consecutive wins, and Weidman has just defeated Omari Akhmedov and won only 2 matches in the last 7 matches.
