Tyson Fury believes that Conor McGregor will win if he remains with Dustin Poirier

The Round Round of Conor McGregor at UFC 257 obviously could not count as success. Despite having an overwhelming first half, Conor was “handled” by Dustin Poirier with calf kicks before eating a punching combo and being knocked down in the second half.

This makes many viewers, including the former opponent of Conor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, said that Conor McGregor could never return to the golden age again.

However, Tyson Fury has a difference in this. The heavy WBC champion believes that Conor McGregor will return more success after receiving the pressure from the defeat.

“Conor is determined to return to the arena. He is trying to leave the radio more, participating in more training, spending more time for martial arts,” Fury said on ESPN.

“That's why I believe that Conor will find his concentration on the stage, whether in the next rematch with Dustin Poirier, he will continue to win or lose. If you lose, maybe Conor will really surrender, but if you win, I am sure that Conor will show an impressive performance in the next series.”

“Conor is the type of person who will overcome adversity – the more pressure he progresses. I believe it is.

Tyson Fury himself admitted he had joints when he returned to the stage after the 2015-2018 period of competition due to depression, but in the most recent match against Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury clearly showed his peak performance. Therefore, Fury has a reason that Conor McGregor will repeat his miracle in the upcoming matches.
