Recently on his personal Youtube page, Truong Dinh Hoang posted a short interview to share about the process of participating in the SEA Games seasons of England. Among them, surprisingly, the most unforgettable impression in him was not the 28th SEA Games, where he won the glorious gold medal for Boxing Vietnam, but the SEA Games season in 2009, when he first got a ticket to participate in the regional arena.
“The first time when I heard the name on the list was that I could not sleep. At that time, my goal was always wanted to attend the SEA Games once, so I always tried. The first SEA Games had 6 outputs but more than ten athletes went out there, did not know who was on the list.
It is the 2015 SEA Games period held in Laos – the land is not very rich but strong in humanity. There, Truong Dinh Hoang met a Lao girl who could speak Vietnamese very cute.
“Laos is not as prosperous as in Vietnam, but people are very rustic and honest. I met there a Lao girl, but I could speak Vietnamese, very cute,” the SEA Games champion smiled brightly when repeating the old story.
The boxer added: “The first SEA Games I was bronze medal, although not as I expected but this is a stepping stone for me to try more in the next tournaments.”
The first time he was wearing the national team shirt when he was 19 was an unforgettable memory on the professional path of boxer Truong Dinh Hoang. This is a beautiful memory for later he can tell his generation of his juniors, to fans, and to his little angels.
