Now, according to information from Thu Nhi's host club, Cocky Buffalo Club, Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi will challenge the World Minimumweight World Championship, currently belonging to Japanese female boxer Etuko Tada on October 23 in Korea.
As the reigning WBO Asian champion, owning the World World Championship is a big step for Thu Nhi.
Puncher Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi is from An Giang's native, starting to practice boxing from the age of 13 and officially became a professional boxer since 2019. Thu Nhi is the winner of the gold medal in the National Championship in 3 years 2015 – 2017-2018; Championships nationwide clubs for 5 consecutive years from 2015 to 2019.
After moving to a professional, Thu Nhi became the first female fighter in Vietnam to win the Asian Wbo Championship in March 2020.
Thu Nhi's rival, Etsuko Tada (20-3-3, 7 KOS) is not easy to eat. As a veteran Japanese boxer, Etsuko Tada struck out the outstanding hand and once owned the championship belt in 3 WBA – IBF – WBO rating organizations. Tada is the reigning WBO World champion thanks to the former Knockout WBA Ayaka Miyao in the 9th half in December 2020.
