Earlier, the members of the female boxing team came to Thailand on March 24 as the original plan. This is considered an important tournament for Vietnamese boxers to keep their form before the SEA Games 31.
The expanded Thai Boxing Prize will take place from the 1st to 10/4 in Phuket City. The boxers will compete in a total of 13 sets of medals in this tournament, including 6 weight classes for women (48kg, 51kg, 57kg, 60kg, 69kg, 75kg) and 7 weight classes of men (52kg, 57kg, 63kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg).
After the members arrived in Thailand, the Vietnam Boxing team will carry out the checkin procedure, register for competition, technical press conferences and branch draws on April 2. The matches took place from 3-9 April. After the tournament ends, the South Vietnamese boxing team will stay in Thailand to train and move straight to Bac Ninh to prepare for the SEA Games.
