According to President Bellator Scott Coker, the legend of the MMA Fedor Emalianenko village has now recovered from health after having Covid-19 last year and was practicing again.
“He was much better's health. He was ready to start training and preparing for the match,” Mr. Scott Coker shared. “He will play here (USA) in the next few months, I think so. I will talk to him when he comes here next week.”
“Fedor will come here with Vadim Nemkov. I will have the opportunity to sit down and talk to him. I will make sure that I and Fedor agree on the viewpoint of time to play again. I am thinking in late summer or early autumn, you will meet Fedor in the cage.”
Fedor Emelianenko played the last time in December 2019 at the Bellator 237 event. He defeated Tko Rampage Jackson and won the 39th in his career.
And the next opponent of 44 -year -old boxer may be another UFC legend, more specifically Junior Dos Santos and Alistair Overeem. These are two recent UFCs that have been cut by UFC.
However, President Bellator Scott Coker intends to sign only 2 fighters each day.
“We will not sign the long -term partnership with the two of them, the type of 6 -year -old contract that lasts two years is not necessary. We will not promote them,” Coker said.
“They did everything. They have proven themselves. They are the legend of this sport. I think they will be the right opponents for Fedor. Whether Fedor vs Alistair, or Fedor vs Dos Santos, every match makes me excited.”
