The National Boxing Award of 2022 held in July

After finishing the 31st SEA Games, Vietnamese martial arts will continue to have a busy year, especially in Boxing. According to the announcement from the Vietnam Boxing Federation (VBF), the General Department of Sports has agreed with VBF's proposal on adjusting the organization of national boxing tournaments 2022.

More specifically, the 2022 National Boxing Prize will be held from the 1st to July 15, 2022 in Dak Lak province. This will be an important tournament for athletes to have the opportunity to rub and improve their qualifications in the context of many tournaments that cannot take place last year because of Covid-19.

Also according to the notice from VBF, the 2022 young boxing boxing will take place in 3 age groups, U14 (13-14 years old), U16 (15-16 years old) and U18 (17-18 years old). It is expected that the U14 athletes need a popular passport to participate in the competition.

Before that, as Thethao.vn Reportedly, the General Department of Sports and Sports issued Decision No. 212/QD-TCTDTT on sending the young female boxing team to participate in the Championship of the Youth and Asian Boxing Championship at Jordan from February 27 to March 15, 2022.

List of young Vietnamese young women's boxing team members attending the Asian Championship including 1 coach and 5 athletes:

– Coach Pham Thanh Hai (Can Tho)

– Athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tran (Can Tho)

– VV Tran Thanh Tuyen (Can Tho)

– Hoang Ngoc Phuong Trinh athlete (Thai Nguyen)

– VV Tran Thi Truc Han (Tien Giang)

– Athlete Pham Thi Quynh Anh (Tien Giang)

It is expected that on February 26, the Vietnamese delegation will set out to Jordan to attend the tournament and return home on March 16.
