The MMA community says goodbye to Khabib Nurmagomedov

Confirmation of the “official” retention of Khabib Nurmagomedov has made UFC's Lightweight weight, including many boxers who said their thoughts.

Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson, who has arranged 5 times with Khabib but does not happen for many reasons, sent a Russian boxer on Instagram.

“Be healthy, briefly, see you again,” the former Interim Tony Ferguson said.

Former Featherweight Max Holloway champion also sent to Khabib. He shared on Twiiter: “Congratulations @teamkhabib. Hope my brother will have a peaceful life. I will visit Dagestan in the near future.”

The manager of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Ali Abdelaziz, affirmed that the Dagestan champion has “inspired billions of people”.

“Congratulations to Khabib, my brother had an incredible career. He inspired billions of people in the world and changed the lives of many people,” Abdelaziz added. “I want to thank MMA's father and oldest brother Dana White – without you, this will not be done.”

Khabib's light fellow boxer Dagestan – Islam Makhachev – also posted a picture of both on Instagram with goodbye. Khabib has repeatedly helped Makhachev practice and promises to continue this job in the future as a coach.

Regarding the fate of the Lightweight title, on May 15, Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira will have a match to determine who is the new owner of the belt.
