IMane Khelif confirmed that she would sue the International Boxing Association (IBA) because of constantly posting information and content of herself. In response to the above statement of Minane Khelif, IBA confirmed that they were ready to take the case to court. Here, IBA will fully present evidence that Khelif is male.

Earlier, in 2023, Imane Khelif and Lin Yu Ting were disqualified before the final of the World Women's Boxing Championship. IBA did not disclose the news at the time, but there was allegations that these boxers were infected with male chromosomes. Until the International Olympic Committee (IOC) allows boxers to play Olympic competition, IBA has just voiced.

“We have received good news, showing that IOC will face the consequences of the decision of IMane Khelif. This athlete says he will request a legal investigation and can sue IBA. At that time, in the court, we will fully present evidence that Khelif should have been banned from playing female boxing,” said Umar Kremlev, President of IBA.

Also according to information from the Chairman of IBA, the organization still holds all the records and documents from 2 sex tests of IMane Khelif and Lin Yu Ting. This is also a scientific basis for IBA to disqualify the two fighters. IBA said they made this decision to ensure fairness for female athletes.
