The champion of Petr Yan confronted Aljamain Sterling in the Bantamweight UFC championship match at UFC 259. At first, everything went very well, both fighters had very fierce tat tats and the advantage was leaning towards the Russian champion.
However, in the fourth half, Yan launched an irregular knee and was tried to lose. This means that Sterling won the championship without too much effort.
This is really a result that fans disappointed. The new champion Aljamain Sterling also removed UFC belt right on the television and bent down to cry because of the way this victory was unworthy. It was just “coloring” on television, about the hotel, Sterling took the belt to celebrate with friends and laughed and said loudly right after the event.
After the series above, the former champion TJ Dillashaw commented:
“We have to award the Oscar for the best actor belonging to Sterling. And Yan needs an accelerated lesson on the competition law even though he is a champion. Yan, now he is also a cheating man.”
Certainly, TJ Dillashaw clearly saw that Aljamain Sterling seemed to be able to stand up to continue playing instead of rolling out. However, Yan's pillow was really strong and it greatly affects the match results. In general, Sterling is not a person who is completely at fault in this.
