The former UFC champion denied that Khabib was the best boxer in the MMA world

With an unbeaten record after 29 matches, Khabib Nurmagomedov has left an unprecedented heritage in MMA. Even the Chairman of the UFC – Dana White Tournament also admitted that Khabib was the leading boxer in every weight class.

However, recently, the former UFC champion of Middleweight – Michael Bisping – has the opposite opinion.

“Khabib has retreated in the race of the best fighter of all time.” Bisping said on True Geordie's Pain Game Podcast.

“In fact, Khabib rarely confronts with strong fighters until the end of his career. You cannot compare this Russian boxer with names like GSP, Jon Jones or Anderson Silva. They play with top names and the time of war is much longer than Khabib.”

Khabib announced her early retirement when she turned 32. Right after the victory at UFC 254 in October last year, this Russian boxer said he was no longer interested in playing after his father's death and coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.

“I understand that losing my father and my promise to my mother made Khabib retire early. Therefore, it is difficult to blame him. But if you look at a fair way, Khabib still does not deserve to become the best martial artist of all time.

“Here I say this with absolute respect for Khabib. He achieved the achievements that I have dreamed is not sure,” Bisping added.
