Held from October 30 to November 12, the Asian Asbc Elite Boxing Championship Asian Championship Championship 2022 is the largest tournament on the continental scale held this year. Coming to this tournament, the Vietnam Boxing team sent two female boxers to attend: Nguyen Thi Tam (50kg weight) and Nguyen Thi Huong (weight of 81kg women).
While Nguyen Thi Huong has reached the semi -finals and stops, Nguyen Thi Tam is continuing the journey in the continental tournament. The boxer born in 1994 won 3 consecutive matches, including the victory over the No. 1 seed of the tournament in this weight class to advance to the final match.
Nguyen Thi Tam's opponent in the last match was Tsukimi Namiki, Japanese boxer. In the remaining semi -finals, Namiki defeated Nazym Kyzaibay (Kazakhstan) to gain the right to play the final. According to the notice from the Organizing Committee, the final between Nguyen Thi Tam and Namiki will take place in the afternoon of 11/11.

After the end of the Asian Asian ASBC Elite Boxing Championship 2022, Nguyen Thi Tam and Nguyen Thi Huong will return home to continue training.
