More specifically, the 52kg weight class of Lion Championship 2022 witnessed two fighters withdrawing, Duong Thi Thanh Minh (HCB SEA Games 31 Jujitsu) and Nguyen Thi Hang Nga (HCV SEA Games 30, 31 Kickboxing). They are absent because they must fulfill their national obligations.
With the two golden faces, Hang Nga and Thanh Minh absent, the 52kg weight of Lion Championship 2022 has only 4 boxers named in the quarterfinals. Facing this situation, the organizers decided to invite 3 boxers in the qualifying round to continue playing the quarterfinals.

The person who is specially in the semi -finals according to the draw results is Nguyen Vu Quynh Hoa (Thai Nguyen). 3 other fighters fought in the quarterfinals were Vu Thi Thuy Nga (MMA Saigon), Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc (An Ninh Yuki) and Nguyen Thi Nhu Quynh (MMA Thanh Hoa).
According to the announcement from the Organizing Committee, the Lion Championship quarter -finals of 2022 have a total of 23 matches, taking place in September 17 and 18. The venue for the quarterfinals is Rach Mieu Stadium (No. 1 Hoa Phuong Street, Ward 2, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City).
After the quarterfinals closed, the Lion Championship 2022 semi -finals will take place in 10 in Hanoi capital. The final round of the tournament is expected to be conducted in January 2023 in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province.
