These are Tran Ngoc Luong (competing in the weight of Flyweight) and Nguyen Van Thanh (52.6kg copper cables). Nguyen Van Thanh's match will take place immediately after Tran Ngoc Luong.
In the MMA Vietnam community, Tran Ngoc Luong is a long -known face. On the side of Nguyen Van Thanh, this boxer, though less famous, was still mentioned by many publics thanks to his personality, and the pants of “unlike anyone” in the martial arts field in the past 2 years.
Nguyen Van Thanh is 31 years old, known as “Doraemon martial artist”. He is practicing at the MMA Tank Club club. Van Thanh has the above nickname because he used to wear a pants with a Doraemon cat printed in some professional MMA tournaments taking place in Vietnam.
The interesting coincidence is that “Doraemon” Nguyen Van Thanh will fight a fighter from the homeland of this magic cat. It was Haruyuki tanitsu, Japanese representative. Haruyuki tanitsu is 21 years old, but compared to Vietnamese boxers, he has better international experience.
The match against Nguyen Van Thanh is the second time Haruyuki Tanitsu has competed at ONE Championship. Previously, he played at the One Lumpinee 61 event, taking place in early May 2024.
