The controversy happened at the weight test before the UFC 310 event, when the Bryan Battle boxer was nearly 2kg. Battle itself did not ask for more time to squeeze. Instead of canceling Bryan Battle's match, UFC adjusted into a “copper cable” and punished this boxer.
According to the current UFC rules, whether winning or losing in the next match, Bryan Battle will have to pay 30% of his opponent Randy Brown. But for Brown individual, a person always strictly complies with the regulations on weight, the compensation level is not satisfactory.
I have 6 professional wins in small MMA tournaments before joining UFC. For the past 9 years, when I competed at UFC, I have never been over to balance even once. I may not be the best boxer, but as the most professional,” Brown said.
Randy Brown joined UFC since the end of 2015, and started playing in 2016. He was considered a martial artist to play the opening matches for the main round of UFC. As Brown said, he was recognized by many colleagues thanks to his professional attitude towards the work of a boxer.
Brown added: “Bryan Battle knew he could not squeeze weight, but still agreed and looked at me miserably for weighting in accordance with the rules.
