On September 15, the match between boxers Huynh Tan Vu (Army) and Ha Van Quynh (Dak Lak) closed with the victory of Ha Van Quynh. After that, the army applied for the re -examination, marking the results of this match. The re -examination request is conducted in accordance with the organizers' rules.
On the basis of the re -examination of the army, the organizers conducted the results of the match. The dot was held at 9am on September 16 at the Center for Training and Sports of Can Tho City. Representatives of 2 delegations and organizers and referees all participated.
Facing the witness of the two delegations, the Organizing Committee chose 9 referees to re -mark the match results. These are referees not to participate in duty in the first match, nor belong to two units with boxers. In addition, to ensure objectivity, both fighters Huynh Tan Vu and Ha Van Quynh are tested for weight on the morning of the same day.
The results of the match ended with a 6-3 victory belonging to Huynh Tan Vu. This is also the first competition to record the results of changes after the re -examination. Earlier, another match was also required by a locality, but the result then kept.
According to the provisions of the International Boxing Association (also known as the World Boxing Federation – IBA, Vietnam is still a member), international matches currently do not allow complaints and re -marking the match. However, in the current context of Boxing Vietnam, the organizers still allow the teams to request the re -examination if there are unsatisfactory results.
