Thanh Le and Vinh Le practiced martial arts when they were both young. Most of the childhood memories of the two brothers are associated with the Moon College Taekwondo Club – a gym formed and taught by their father.
Thanks to the solid Taekwondo platform, the style of Thanh Le and Vinh Le was somewhat different from many boxers. The Le cousin also practiced other martial arts after starting a MMA career such as Boxing and Nhu Thuat, the techniques they learned only complementary to Taekwondo.
“I have been practicing taekwondo for 21 years, and he (Thanh Le) has been 30 years. Taekwondo is our soul. So our play style is a bit strange on the MMA floor,” Vinh Le, the younger brother of Thanh Le said.
“Our standing style is not like the type of muay Thai or Kickboxing people often meet. It is a unique style. Not only that, our two brothers add their own characteristics.”
Compared to his brother, Vinh Le has a lower height but thicker, causing him to play in the Lightweight weight class instead of Featherweight like Thanh Le. Despite the limitation of height and arms compared to the European and American rivals, Vinh Le still proved to be a formidable boxer with impressive speed, continuous punches that have been eye -catching and enthusiastic style, fire.
At the age of 27, it is not too young to determine whether or not professional competition, but Vinh Le still wants to spend more time to improve skills. In addition to being a friend who practices with Thanh Le, Vinh Le often supports his brother in the tactics to defeat the opponent. Vinh Le was also present on the corner of Thanh Le's ring when Thanh defeated Martin Nguyen in the last Belt One Championship match in 2020.
“My brother and I are at different stages of my career. When I was amateur, the matches were like opportunities to sharpen skills. Once I became a professional martial artist, the practice process would be more favorable about the study of the opponent, how to take advantage of their disadvantages,” Vinh Le said.
“Accompanying my brother also helps me to have a more comprehensive perspective on the boxers, the training, tactical direction, and many notable factors in a match. It will be the weapons I have in the future.”
