This year, the tournament has the presence of 311 athletes from 25 provinces, cities and branches across the country. Participating in the competition, the athletes are in 02 age groups of men and women including: groups from 17-18 years old and group from 19 – 40 years old. In particular, the male age group has 14 weight classes (from 46 kg to over 92 kg). The female age group has 13 weight classes (from 45 kg to over 81 kg).
As a result, the first army ranked first in the whole male and Hanoi delegation ranked first in the entire female delegation. At the age group from 17-18 male, the excellent army won 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 1 bronze medal. Secondly, Ho Chi Minh City delegation with 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. And ranked third is Doan Thanh Hoa with 2 gold medals.
At the age group from 17-18 women, the Hanoi delegation excelled in the first place with 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals. Standing after that, Doan Thai Binh won the second position with a gold medal, a silver medal and a bronze medal. And finally, Thanh Hoa delegation ranked third with a gold medal and a bronze medal.
At the age of 19-40 years old, Hanoi continued to win the first place with 5 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 5 bronze medals. In particular, the An Giang delegation surprised a big surprise when ranked second with 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals. Finally, Tien Giang delegation ranked third with a gold medal, a silver medal and a bronze medal.
At the age of 19-40 years old, the first position belongs to the army with 6 gold medals and 1 bronze medal. Following the Bac Ninh delegation with 3 gold medals, 3 bronze medals. And ranked third is Doan Binh Duong with 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal.
Throughout the tournament, many surprises took place to bring a lot of joy to the fans. Martial artist Nguyen Thi Thu Hao is a coach for Ho Chi Minh City for more than 7 years. More surprisingly, she excelled in winning athlete Vuong Thi Huong at the final of 45kg and won the gold medal.
