Information World Women's Boxing Championship
Organized annually, the World Women's Boxing Championship brings together leading fighters from more than 50 countries and territories. Coming to this year's tournament, the Organizing Committee noted that more than 300 boxers registered to attend, a record number ever. Historically, Vietnam won a bronze medal at the World Women's Boxing Championship 2019. The person who brought back the medal was boxer Nguyen Thi Huong. According to information from the Organizing Committee, the World Boxing Championship took place from March 15 to 27. The matches started from March 16. The boxer participated in the knockout format to find the athlete to win the championship. Because of not being arranged, Vietnamese boxers met many strong opponents in the outside.
