On the eve of the 2024 season, the Vietnam MMA Champion Lion Championship has announced the official ranking in all weight classes. At 56kg in weight, there were 15 fighters ranked. However, the list is no longer the name of the boxer of Wushu King Club is Do Huy Hoang.
By the time Lion Championship took place in the first season in 2022, Do Huy Hoang reached the final weight of 56kg in weight. He lost to Pham Van Nam at the championship event. By the end of 2023, Huy Hoang was expected to return to the competition but could not compete.
According to the announcement of the Lion Championship Event Organizing Committee, Do Huy Hoang had to retreat due to poisoning after pressing. That made him unable to compete with opponent Le Huy Hoang. Therefore, Do Huy Hoang has no achievements in the past 1 year and has been deleted from the rankings.
Although Do Huy Hoang is no longer in the Lion Championship chart, 56kg male weight is still very noticeable. Besides the defending champion Pham Van Nam, this weight class also has Dinh Van Huong, Nguyen Thanh Do, Phan Thanh Tung and Vo Thanh Tung. They are all strong boxers in the top 10.
In the opposite direction, a boxer decided to return to MMA after withdrawing from Lion Championship, Le Van Tuan. The person who once encountered Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat said he would participate in the competition in the near future. In the last time the competition, Van Tuan defeated Duong Thanh Hung.
