April 16 is the last day of the Boxing Championship of the national teams nationwide 2024. Many national players such as Ha Thi Linh, Luu Diem Quynh and Nguyen Thi Tam have played until the last day and affirmed the strength of the gold medal. Vo Thi Kim Anh is a rare player who does not play in the tournament.
Immediately after the end of the final competition, the whole team, including coach Nguyen Nhu Cuong, expert Tawan Mungphingklang and boxer Vo Thi Kim Anh (who officially had Olympic tickets) returned to Hanoi. Shortly thereafter, they immediately prepared furniture to Kazakhstan.
This is part of the foreign training plan of the Vietnam Women's Boxing team to aim for the 2nd Olympic qualifying round. The team will have about 3 weeks of training in Kazakhstan, then continued training in Thailand before the Olympic qualifying round. The second qualifying period took place in early June in Bangkok.
On the journey from Vietnam to Kazakhstan, the team was transited in Doha, Qatar. With the current travel and training schedule, the whole team has absolutely no holidays. This is normal for the players at this time, when they are in the process of fulfilling national obligations.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese women's boxing team practiced in the southern region (including coach Pham Thanh Hai, athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tran, Nguyen Huyen Tran, Hoang Ngoc Mai) has just ended a 1 -month training trip in Thailand. They did not attend the Boxing Championships of the nationwide strong teams in 2024.
