The teams must complete the registration list on the online system from December 11, 2023 to January 19, 2024. The qualifying round takes place from February 29 to March 12, with 9 days of competition from 3-11.
On February 29, the members of the Vietnam Boxing team boarded the plane to Italy. According to the team's schedule, the members will fly 2 stages including Hanoi – Doha (Qatar), Doha – Milan Malpensa (Italy). After that, the whole team will move to Busto Arsizio, where the Olympic qualifier takes place.

Immediately after arriving in Italy, the members of the Vietnam Boxing team will embark on the preparation work, as well as attend the branching draw. In the Paris Olympic qualifying round, the organizers perform the draw on the random principle, not to arrange seeds with the participants.
In order to focus on the goal of conquering the Olympic ticket, the Vietnam Boxing recruited only 6 female boxers, no male boxers on this trip. Except for 57kg female (2 premiums) and 60kg of women (3 capacity), the remaining weight classes will have 4 sets to the Olympic Games given to the boxers participating.
