As the first event organized by VSP after a period of interruption because of Covid-19, The Genesis witnessed the presence of many Vietnamese and international boxers. According to information from the organizers, The Genesis consists of 7 matches in the weight of men and women. The matches will take place in the evening of July 28.
According to information Thethao.vn Noting, The Genesis has 3 foreign boxers participating in Skye Elizabeth Falzon (60kg weight -weight class), Jessica Louise Messina (67kg women's weight class) and Ameir Mohamed (72kg male weight). They promise to bring a new experience to Vietnamese boxing fans in this competition.
The professional boxing event The Genesis was started with a pair of 56kg weight between the two boxers Doan Gia Thanh and Nguyen Tien Dat. Meanwhile, the focus of the event is a confrontation in the weight of 61kg between Doan Van Hieu and Do Ngoc Hoan. All matches lasted 4 rounds, each 3 minutes in the professional boxing format.
Another noteworthy information is that less than 36 hours before The Genesis began, VSP found the replacement of Andrew Winchester, the boxer had to withdraw from injury. It was boxer Le Van Hien, who used to win a Knock out in 2018 against the Chinese opponent.
As the first unit in Vietnam to organize professional – professional boxing events, VSP has resonated with the Victory 8 series. After having to postpone because of the CIVI -19 epidemic, VSP said it will continue to organize boxing events in 2022. This unit is also considering re -establishing the Victory 8 event series in Vietnam.
