BJJ is no longer a strange term for MMA boxers, it is an indispensable blow in professional MMA tournaments. However, several years ago, this subject was not really famous in Vietnam. If you want to study, you must study with foreign coaches with a high tuition fee compared to the income of Vietnamese people at that time.
One of the first people who studied and brought this subject to Saigon was coach Vu Dinh Tien. He knew this subject through online games, felt interested in it, so he learned, researched and opened a gym to guide the young people who were also passionate about it.
In the process of training BJJ with Vu Dinh Tien, boxer Muya Thai – Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat felt very interested and expressed his desire to join the MMA arena when he practiced smoothly the techniques of BJJ.
“In the near future, I will participate in this subject practice to better understand BJJ, as well as have the opportunity to go deeper and participate in the competition in MMA. Because BJJ is an integral part of MMA, so I have to grasp its movements to have the opportunity to win.” Only shared.
Only further guidance: “This practice requires you to be proactive and move continuously to solve the opponent's attack and learn techniques to avoid falling into the locked position on the floor. There are many movements and techniques in this subject to gain such a style behind, pressure … requires yourself to practice every day to master it.”
Hopefully, after the disease has been well controlled in other countries, we can see Nguyen Tran Duy the only role in a new role, not only is the Muya Thai boxer but also the true MMA boxer. We wait for the return of the only way in bigger, more drastic tournaments, to bring about our own achievements.
