In the afternoon of 2/4, at the headquarters of the Vietnam General Martial Arts Federation (VMMAF), the 3rd Executive Committee of the Executive Committee of the Federation – Term 1 officially took place. Here, the Executive Committee of the Federation approved and agreed on some important decisions in the first term.
In addition to adding Mr. Dao Gia Bao (Lieutenant General, former Director of the Political Department, Ministry of Public Security) to the Executive Committee of the Federation, establishing the Medical and Sports Science Committee … VMMAF also agreed to join the organization of the International General Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF).
At the present time, IMMAF is known as the largest non -profit MMA management organization at the amateur level. The organization was established on February 29, 2012 in Switzerland and there were 63 member feders on all five continents. Since 2014, IMMAF has organized tournaments and awarded medals like Olympic.
One of the most notable activities of Immaf is that they are officially collaborated with UFC, one of the world's largest MMA promotion businesses. The general martial arts events organized by UFC now attract millions of followers, and are currently valid for television rights about 300 million USD/year.
Before deciding to join the International Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), VMMAF had considered the organization and the global martial arts association (Gamma). Gamma currently has 110 members on 5 continents and collaborates with One Championship from 2019 to the present.
In 2022, besides the tasks – directions set out, VMMAF is aimed at key activities, including:
– Organizing the Vietnam General Martial Arts Championship in 2022 (the abbreviation of Lion Championship 2022)
– Building a professional team, improving the efficiency of developing martial arts movement in police, military and localities
– Towards building a stable national – international competition system, establishing a national team
– Keep a strategic relationship with Vietnam General Martial Arts Company (Vimma)
– Attract socialization resources for the Federation
