According to The Sun, the body of Keith Thomas Coughlan was found in North Kuta, Bali, Indonesia on the morning of July 24 (local time). A resident there discovered the Irish boxer trapped under the rubble in the ditch of the scooter he used.
When found, Keith Thomas's body had no reaction. After the ambulance arrived, the medical staff had been restored to the emergency but sadly was too late.
According to channel 9 News Australia, police found 7 bottles of alcoholic beverages at the scene. However, the government has not yet confirmed the cause of the accident is due to Keith Coughlan drinking alcohol while driving or not.
Keith Coughlan is a MMA boxer living in Freemantle, West Australia and is in training in Bali. Keith has just won his first MMA match only 1 month earlier when playing at Canggu Fight Night 23 in Indonesia's coastal city.
The Department of Irish's Foreign Affairs here confirmed that it had grasped the details of the incident. The Ministry's spokesman said they were supporting the consulate for the family of the bad victim.
It is known that Keith Coughlan is a talented and promising MMA boxer. After his first victory in Canggu Fight Night 23, Coughlan was planning to return to the stage in the coming months. But unfortunately, the tragedy happened to him when he was too young.
