In 2022, Lion Championship took place from June to December 2022. The tournament is divided into 3 phases: qualifying (taking place in all 3 regions), semi -finals (taking place in Hanoi) and the final (taking place in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang).
In addition, the organizer of the tournament also aims to organize Lion Championship to become a weekly martial arts event since 2023. This is part of the Lion Championship's first 3 -year organization plan.
