In the last week of September, Floyd Mayweather will play with MMA boxer and Japanese Youtuber Mikuru Asakura. At the press conference before the event, the unbeaten champion of the professional boxing revealed a rematch between him and Conor McGregor that could take place in the near future, namely 2023.
“My weekend match (with Asakura) is only exchanged and happy. In November, I will play an additional match in Dubai, then the match with McGregor in 2023,” Floyd Mayweather revealed. He added: “I don't know if this is a good or official match. Both sides are negotiating.”
Floyd Mayweather personally said he prioritized a match than the official play at the age of 46. He said he would not fight if he was at risk of receiving punishment attacks. McGregor had a “not knowing who to yield” every time he went to the station to play, but he did not punch as hard as the boxing boxing.
“People like Conor McGregor are like UFC fighters or YouTuber, they do not punch as strong as our professional boxing people. However, caution is necessary for me not to harm myself, not to let myself hurt in an unnecessary way,” Mayweather added.
