Logan Paul will have a friendly match with Floyd Mayweather Jr at the exhibition event in Miami on June 6. Paul had a single boxing match as a professional boxer with KSI earlier this year, the result he lost to Youtuber Ksi with the results of close points 55-56, 57-54, 56-55.
At Bellator 259 last weekend, Logan Paul was asked if he thought he would try his luck in the MMA cage.
“Surely! I think I will do better in a MMA match because I have the background from wrestling,” Paul replied.
Paul practiced wrestling during high school and reached the fifth position in the Ohio wrestling championship in 2013. At the same time, Paul was played in the school's NCA-Division I wrestling team.
MMA is a difficult sport. It is harder than Boxing. MMA boxer is recognized as comprehensive, 360 degrees. I have some problems of knees and my body is not very good. But I can't help but fight a MMA match before I die. I will definitely play a town, and if I win, I will have a reason to play another match.
Paul also talked about the upcoming match with Floyd Mayweather. Paul said he tried to do all the procedures for the match to go smoothly and legally.
“This match is not a show. I said it – is there any show that lasts eight half and each three minutes? This is a real match.
Paul continued to say that he would not make the game “easy” with Mayweather, Paul has worked hard for eight months.
“I have nothing to lose. I will be upset with the spirit of good fighting. Mayweather is the opposite, he has everything to lose, status, title, career, … I don't have many things to hesitate, and so I am really dangerous.”
